When it comes to diesel, many car owners prefer it because it diesel takes longer to combust than gasoline, other than the fact they can say "I drive a diesel". However, despite seeming similar to gasoline engines, they are quite different. Sometimes, combustion can last longer than when the timing hits TDC (top dead center). Lag occurs afterwards, which can hurt performance. To prevent this, the automatic timing advance unit injects diesel before TDC is reached to make sure the engine continues to run.
Without a properly functioning automatic timing advance unit, your car will have reduced performance at best and severe engine damage at worst. If you feel you are experience any of the symptoms mentioned, we recommend you have an inspection completed immediately by an expert as your car needs to have a working automatic timing advance.
One of the best car experiences I've ever had. 10/10. Booked and quoted on the phone. George was a really nice guy. Knowledgable and practical. Only did the work that was needed with a head's up of when to expect future service. All for a competitive price while I continued with my normal day in my own home. Why didn't anyone think of this before?! I will definitely use them again and recommend to my friends.
