When you set cruise control, the vacuum reservoir is what artificially monitors the pressure in the pistons. By harnessing pressure, the vacuum ensures the vehicle speed is kept steady, in position and at the speed it is set at. Without proper functioning, the car begins going haywire. The reservoir stores a space of vacuum when supply runs low, and the cruise control vacuum now has more flexibility in maintaining the constant flow of air to keep pressure. When you speed up your cruise control, this reservoir ensures your car can keep its position and maintain speed.
As a convenience feature, you don’t necessarily need the cruise control fixed. When you are ready, have it replaced. The only time we recommend you get it done as soon as possible is if other parts also begin to malfunction and it hurts your in-car experience.
One of the best car experiences I've ever had. 10/10. Booked and quoted on the phone. George was a really nice guy. Knowledgable and practical. Only did the work that was needed with a head's up of when to expect future service. All for a competitive price while I continued with my normal day in my own home. Why didn't anyone think of this before?! I will definitely use them again and recommend to my friends.
