How does Fiix work?

  1. Simply request a quote for a service or ask us a question by providing us with your location and car details.
  2. We will give you an instant, fixed, quote based on your request and you will see the breakdown of labour fees and cost of parts. If an instant price is not available, give us a call and we will be glad to give you one over the phone.
  3. You can book an appointment by selecting a time that is the most convenient for you. Our mechanics are available 7 days a week, from 8am to 8pm EST. You will be matched with a mechanic who has the right skills and expertise to perform the service for your car. You can also see reviews of the mechanic before you book so you feel comfortable knowing how experienced our mechanics really are. Our mechanics have a goal to get a good review after each service. Mechanics with higher ratings get rewarded by Fiix. This keeps us honest and encourages mechanics to provide the best service possible.
  4. A Fiix mechanic will perform the service at the convenience of your home or office, and they will arrive with all of the parts and tools necessary. A parking space, driveway, or garage is required. Mechanics cannot perform work on the street.
  5. We initially put a hold on your credit card for the required funds, but we only charge your credit card and remove the funds after the work is done and only once you are fully satisfied. To process payments, we use Stripe which is the world's largest developer-oriented commerce company and they handle billions of dollars a year with their enhanced security platform. Other notable companies that use Stripe include: Adidas, Best Buy, Target, Twitter, and more. A service report and receipt will be emailed to you right after the service is completed.
