Gaskets are seals used for protection or encapsulation of fluids and parts within your engine. The valve cover gasket seals the top of the engine as well as prevents oil leakage from occurring. Like many other gaskets, the valve cover is very susceptible to wear because it takes a lot of the heat, literally and figuratively, in protecting the car’s internal engines.
Since your engine relies on oil to keep all its parts lubricated, spinning, firing and moving efficiently, this gasket is especially important. Missing oil will lead to poorer engine performance and a risk of overheating. To prevent this, we recommend you have a certified technician diagnose your vehicle as soon as possible. Otherwise, you might be taking a lot of the heat, not that gasket.
One of the best car experiences I've ever had. 10/10. Booked and quoted on the phone. George was a really nice guy. Knowledgable and practical. Only did the work that was needed with a head's up of when to expect future service. All for a competitive price while I continued with my normal day in my own home. Why didn't anyone think of this before?! I will definitely use them again and recommend to my friends.
