Your gas cap is connected to your fuel reservoir by the fuel filler neck. This is where your fuel can enter and come into your gas tank. Though it is made to be durable, the fuel filler neck can decay from interactions with dust, debris and corrosive chemicals that cause rust to appear. If it has issues, you may start to see more gas outside your tank than in it.
Leaking fuel neck fillers are not only hurtful to your car’s performance, but they can easily become fire hazards. If you start seeing puddles or reduced mileage, get your car checked by an expert as fast as possible, unless you want your car to become a firework.
One of the best car experiences I've ever had. 10/10. Booked and quoted on the phone. George was a really nice guy. Knowledgable and practical. Only did the work that was needed with a head's up of when to expect future service. All for a competitive price while I continued with my normal day in my own home. Why didn't anyone think of this before?! I will definitely use them again and recommend to my friends.
