Located within the cold air intake, this electronically controlled fuel injector will only operate when the engine is within a certain temperature range. If it goes below the injector’s usage point, the electronic computer will signal for the cold start injector to press more fuel into the engine, starting up faster while it is cold. When starting up, ensure enough pressure remains on the pedal so that the engine does not die while warming up, otherwise it may sound rough or have issues with performance.
Have your cold start injector regularly tested because it is responsible for ensuring your car starts up while cold. Especially in the cold seasons, it will be even more difficult for your engine to warm up, so make sure you have an inspection finished before you’re left taking the bus in the next snowstorm.
One of the best car experiences I've ever had. 10/10. Booked and quoted on the phone. George was a really nice guy. Knowledgable and practical. Only did the work that was needed with a head's up of when to expect future service. All for a competitive price while I continued with my normal day in my own home. Why didn't anyone think of this before?! I will definitely use them again and recommend to my friends.
