The timing belt plays an important role for your car. It's role is to ensure that the crankshaft is in sync with the camshafts so that the engine valves are performing optimally and are timed properly. The belt that is located in the engine compartment behind the drive belts is the timing belt. Oftentimes if the timing belt is being replaced, the water pump, drive belt tensioner, and pulleys also need to be replaced. If they are not replaced there is a possibility that the valve or pistons can be damaged.
It's important to monitor the condition of your timing belt and whether it is damaged or not. If it is damaged, your car may not be able to start and will not function properly. Also if you wait too long, it could cause further damage to components that work cohesively with the timing belt.
First-time user. From getting my quote online; appointment; follow up -- George (mechanic) was running late due to traffic and kept me up-to-date; everything was done with responsive, professional service. Job was done at my office with no complications. This was probably the easiest, non-invasive repair, ever! Follow up as well. Highly recommended.
Richard Tu was courteous, polite, efficient and on time. He had my tires changed in about 30 minutes. All my summer tires were put back in the plastic bags and piled neatly in my garage. This saved me hours of waiting time in my local garage. I appreciated his fast and efficient service and promptness. I would definitely use their service again and highly recommend it to everyone.
The mechanic was very knowledgeable and able to find the problem and fixed it right on the spot.
Service technician was right on time, rather before time. Quickly went on the job did the job nicely, both Rotors and Pads replaced (Front only) plus oil change. Only thing it bothered me was oil drain timing. When I did similar oil changes on my other car, I normally would give more time for proper and nice drain. I fully understand the way he did but could have been better. I understand the time limitations they have. Otherwise Good Job. This is the reason I gave 4 stars.
Great mechanic , extremely pleasant, helpful and still smiling while working in the cold. My third time using Fiix and for sure won't be the last. Exemtrely satisfied !
I am very pleased with the service I received this morning. Fiix technician 'George' was very polite and professional. I had a front brake job on my 2011 3 series BMW (pads rotors). George showed me the old parts and the newly installed brakes before remounting the wheel/tire. I went for a quick test drive and all seems well. A substantial cost savings compared to a dealership. So overall a satisfying experience, I will be using Fiix again, and recommending them to friends.
