The steering column is a link moved by the ignition cylinder, and it helps start your vehicle up. However, that’s not all. You actuator actually keeps your key from popping out whenever your vehicle is turned on, locking it in place. This keeps you safe from having the key break off or come out during an average drive.
If the steering column actuator is working, your car won’t start. You don’t have much of an option here, but you don’t need to get your car towed if this is broken. Have one of our mechanics come by instead and repair your vehicle right at home!
