All cars have a minimum of two handles per door, with one in the interior and another on the exterior body. As a frequently used device, the handles will often wear out and require replacement. The issue may also lie with the directly associated door latch that prevents the door from locking or shutting.
If you experience any ofthe above symptoms, book an inspection immediately. There may also be damage to the door lock actuator or lock relay if the handle was damaged in any type of accident. We recommend door handles are quickly replaced to ensure you’re never left out in the cold with no way home.
