Cooling fans distribute cool air to the engine and cabim through the cooling fan relay and are either controlled mechanically via a belt or electronically. In most modern cars, electronically controlled cooling fans will turn on based on sensors. Once the temperature hits a certain point, a signal is sent to the resistor to power up and increase the cooling effect.
With either an engine that is too hot from a broken fan or a dead battery, neither is a great liability to have when you want a properly functioning car. We recommend having a qualified technician inspect your vehicle as soon as your resistor begins malfunctioning. It may even be other cooling fan issues and your resistor is fine.
One of the best car experiences I've ever had. 10/10. Booked and quoted on the phone. George was a really nice guy. Knowledgable and practical. Only did the work that was needed with a head's up of when to expect future service. All for a competitive price while I continued with my normal day in my own home. Why didn't anyone think of this before?! I will definitely use them again and recommend to my friends.
