By intaking air within the engine compartment via the radiator, cooling fans are able to modulate the temperature of your engine and create air flows to cool down your vehicle. The cooling fan is an electric motor with fan blades attached, turning on when the powertrain control module signals it to begin cooling. Once a certain temperature is reached, the fan will shut off and allow the air to circulate.
Not only does the cooling fan supply cool air to the cabin, but to the engine as well. Like parts such as a the coolant reservoir, the fan is integral to ensuring your engine has optimum performance. A continuously running fan can lead to a dead battery and a nonresponsive one can easily lead to temperature issues. We recommend you have it fixed immediately before the temperature issues damage your engine further.
One of the best car experiences I've ever had. 10/10. Booked and quoted on the phone. George was a really nice guy. Knowledgable and practical. Only did the work that was needed with a head's up of when to expect future service. All for a competitive price while I continued with my normal day in my own home. Why didn't anyone think of this before?! I will definitely use them again and recommend to my friends.
